JMM :- Jharkhand Mukti Morcha
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM). It is an Indian state organization political party of Jharkhand. It was founded by Binod Bihari Mahato in the year 1972. The youth wing of this party is named as Jharkhand Chhatra Yuva Morcha. It was officially created on the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda, who was the tribal warrior of Jharkhand in the 19th century. Its headquarters are situated in Bariatu Road, Ranchi. Till the year 1962, the political party of Jharkhand had continuously demanded the separation of Jharkhand from Bihar and ultimately became successful between 23-32 seats in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. The main ideology of this party is the regionalism. Now, it possesses 2 seats in the 15th Lok Sabha. The current chief minister of the state is Hemant Soren of JMM. The symbol of this party is a bow and arrow drawn on a green colored flag.
