LCM – Lowest Common Multiple
How to find out the least common multiple of two natural numbers which are given? It is really a tough task for the students but to calculating the LCM is not that much hard. LCM is the smallest positive integer which must be a multiple of both given numbers. When two given numbers such as a and b are multiplied with each other or we can say product of a and b is equal to the product of the greatest common divisor of the given numbers and the least common multiple of the same. We learn to calculate the LCM since a very young age as this is one of the important topics of mathematics subject. That is why it is added to the syllabus of the students who are in their primary classes so that, later on, they can easily do the other mathematical calculation which requires the calculation of lowest common multiple of two or more than two numbers.
