UDC:- Upper Division Clerk
UDC stands for Upper Division Clerk. In exercise of the forces given by the stipulation to article 309 of the constitution and in concealment of the Department of Parliamentary Affairs Rules 1963, updated from time to time, the pay scale, age, and educational qualification for UDC are determined. Pay scale of UDC in Government associations in India is Rs. 5200-20200 in addition to a review pay of Rs. 2400 and this is the present pay scale after the sixth pay commission report. They are additionally paid a section pay of around Rs. 7510 and other acceptable allowances. For applying to the post of UDC in Government Organizations in India, competitors must be graduates in any order with at least 50% of marks. Maximum age for applying to the post of UDC in Government Organizations is 27 years and least age necessity is 18 years. The duties of a UDC are:-
1) To assist the Office Superintendent in daily work of establishment/accounts.
2) Daily disposal of administrative files and other matters put up by LDC/UDC.
3) Duties in respect of recording, indexing, periodical weeding of unwanted papers and many more.
