Never take what isn’t yours -
Teaching your kids not to take what isn't theirs is an important life lesson. Be sure you tell, and show, them that asking for permission is necessary.
Put things away when you're done -
Teaching your child to put their things away when they're done will go a long way. For one, it will save you lots of time cleaning up behind them!
Say "please" and "thank you" -
Basic manners such as saying "please" and "thank you" are important for kids to learn early on. This will help them when they're out in the real world.

Children should know to treat others with kindness and respect, just like they desire. This mutual understanding will go a long way.
Listen when others are speaking -
Respect people and listen when they are speaking. Whether it's an adult or another child, make sure your kiddo knows to put their listening ears on.
Share with others -
When possible and safe, children should be generous. Teach them that sharing is caring when it comes to toys and other such items.
Take care of your own things -
The things we own should be cared for and treated with respect. Instill in your children the need to be responsible for their own possessions.
Be on time -
Instill in your child that being on time means respecting other people’s time. If they say they'll arrive at a given time, be sure they realize that it's important to do so.
Help others when you can -
If someone is in need and the scenario is a safe one, show your child that lending a hand to those in need is the right thing to do.
Keep your promises -
Children should see you keeping your promises and be taught the importance of being reliable and trustworthy.
