Denmark - Tuborg dates back to 1880, when it was first introduced. Named after a Copenhagen inn from the 1690s, it is now a beer that is widely exported to a variety of countries.
Venezuela - Polar beer began manufacturing in the 1940s. Mainly sold in Venezuela, it is owned by Empresas Polar, who also sell Pepsi for the Venezuelan market.
Kenya - Tusker belongs to the Diageo group, and is their best-selling beer brand in Africa. Tusker has also been sold in the UK market for over a decade.
Cape Verde - Strela is brewed in Cape Verde. The beer is a very new brand, having begun production in 2006. Strela beer is exported to Portugal and Gambia.
Argentina - Founded in 1888, Quilmes has in excess of three quarters of the Argentinian beer market. It is also exported to Central and North America, and Europe.
Ireland - Famous worldwide, Guinness is synonymous with Ireland, but is also sold in over 120 countries. The brand has become extremely iconic over the years.
Austria - Steigl was founded in Austria in 1492. In addition to being the most popular beer in Austria, it is also exported abroad, and the brand carries a few different products.
Japan - Asahi Super Dry was first introduced in 1987, and within three decades it had become the best-selling beer in Japan, overtaking Kirin. It is also widely exported.
Greece - Mythos is quite a young beer, the brand having been established in 1997. It is mainly sold within Greece, but also exported to several other countries around the world.
France - Kronenbourg 1664 dates back to 1952. It is mainly produced in Obernai, France, but is also made under license in both Australia and the UK.
