Movie titles that gave away the plot

'We Bought a Zoo' (2011) -
Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson star in this film, which is pretty much about renovating the zoo the main character buys.

'Snakes on a Plane' (2006) -
If there is one man who can get rid of snakes on a plane, it's Samuel L. Jackson.

'Home Alone' (1990) -
A kid is accidentally left behind, home alone, as his family goes on vacation.

'Kill Bill: Vol. 1' (2003) -
Not only do we get the information that the main character's goal is to kill Bill, but we also know that there is at least a Vol. 2 on the way.

'Dude, Where's My Car?' (2000) -
Can somebody please help this dude find his car? He ends up looking for it the entire movie.

'Slumdog Millionaire' (2008) -
A teen from a Mumbai slum enters a TV show and becomes a millionaire: this is the plot of Danny Boyle's film. 

'The Truman Show' (1998) -
This film is about a man named Truman who's oblivious to the fact that his life is actually a TV show. And guess who's the star of the show? Truman, of course.

'The Great Escape' (1963) -
Steve McQueen stars in this movie where a group of prisoners of war plan an escape from a prison camp.

Finding Nemo' (2003) -
A fish named Marlin embarks on a journey to find his son, Nemo, and bring him home. So yes, the title is the plot.

'Gladiator' (2000) -
This Oscar-winning movie is, perhaps unsurprisingly, about a gladiator (Russell Crowe).
